With one precedent issue in the US, the market is shifting quickly toward Canada as a safe and discreet destination for the care and medication that American’s felt free and able to get just a few months ago. At the heart of the issue, a US physician practicing in her home state prescribed an abortion medication to a patient from another state, and was sued by the Attorney General of the patient’s state as a result. Physicians tend to want to do what’s right and are naturally conservative, so this has many who are comfortable practicing reproductive medicine naturally concerned about the temporary future of their practice in the US.
